EXPLORE HANOI

Experience the unique blend of Asian vibrancy and French colonial elegance on a guided tour of Hanoi's highlights. Visit the old and peaceful villages and narrow roads, and meet the locals to get a deeper understanding of the country. You will also visit the Tran Quoc pagoda on Westlake, one of the oldest pagodas in Hanoi, and the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam built in 1070 to honor Confucius and notable Vietnamese scholars. See the famous Hanoi Train Street, where houses have been built alongside the tracks since the railway was first constructed in the city by French colonists in 1902. Watch the train pass through the old-style houses and take photos of the Opera House, with its impressive French architecture on display through the many colonial monuments scattered throughout the downtown. Enjoy a cyclo (rickshaw) ride through the lively and bustling streets of the Old Quarter, known for its "36 streets of 36 wares," each named after the business that was once conducted there. Explore the narrow streets and discover unique items to bring home as souvenirs of this memorable afternoon in Hanoi. Day 3
HANOI TO HA LONG BAY FOR OVERNIGHT CRUISE

Breakfast at hotel and check out. You will be picked up at the hotel and head East for about 3 hours to Ha Long Bay; the pride of the Gulf of Tonkin, a Natural World Heritage as designated by UNESC. As you drive along you will have the opportunity to admire the green paddy fields and rural villages.
Upon arrival at Vinashin Tourist Harbor, you are welcomed at waiting room before boarding your cruise. Around mid-day you will embark on the Huong Hai Sealife Cruise. Enjoy welcome drink as Cruise Manager gives you a brief overview of the itinerary and important safety guidelines. Then check into your cabin before you start cruising among famous islets of Bai Tu Long Bay, the wildest beauty with panoramic natural views. Admire the grace of the bay while enjoying the delicious lunch in the restaurant at the first deck. During your cruising excursion the boat will stop and provide the opportunity to disembark and explore the well-hidden Cac Co Cave (known as Thien Canh Son Cave). Relax on white sandy beach or walk along the beach at Hon Co Island. After relaxing on the beach, head back to the boat for happy hour drinks while you watch the wonderful beauty of Bai Tu Long Bay at sunset; admire the striking islands and islets, enjoy the fresh and peaceful atmosphere on the way to Cong Do. After arriving at Cong Do, enjoy kayaking or simply relaxing on the cruise. At 6:00 pm everybody wioll be back onboard the vessel, surrounded by a stunning scenery to attend the chef’s cooking demonstration and try your skills in the art of making traditional Vietnamese spring rolls on the sundeck. HA LONG BAY – HANOI - FLIGHT TO HO CHI MINH CITY

Welcome a new day with an amazing dawn on Bai Tu Long Bay. Refresh your body and soul with a Tai-chi session on the sundeck. After catch the morning view of seascape while enjoying breakfast with cookies and tea. After breakfast visit the Vung Vieng village, the famous fishing farm, by bamboo boat and learn about local life and the people living on the waters of Halong Bay Mid morning you will check out of your cabin and enjoy brunch as we cruise back to the Vinashin tourist harbor. Around mid-day you will disembark from the Huong Hai Sealife and head back to Hanoi to catch your flight to Saigon (now known as Ho Chi Minh City) – the most hectic city and business capital of Vietnam. Today is free a day at leisure or you may select between the optional Mekong excursion or Cu Chi tunnel excursion.
Optional: Charming Ben Tre Province (08:00am – 17:00) Additional Cost This morning, depart for a 2-hour drive from downtown Ho Chi Minh City to Ben Tre province. Take a view in the lush surroundings of rice paddies and fruit farms alongside the highway as you leave behind the high-energy city. Arriving at the waterfront pier, set off for a slow journey along the Mekong River. Gain a glimpse at countryside scenery and river life while enjoying seasonal tropical fruits and local specialties. Shore excursions include the home of a tropical fruit farmer. Have a walk around his orchard and observe how the local farmers harvest the fruits using the traditional method. Enjoy the opportunity to taste fresh coconuts and grapefruits while engaging in with local farmers for an overview of their daily farming tasks. Stop for a visit at the family-run business where you will learn how the coconuts are processed and then enjoy country hospitality as you sip a cup of honey tea and taste the sweet flavor of coconut candy in a rustic yet cozy atmosphere. Tour a hidden island by traditional tuk-tuk or bicycle, passing through sleeping village, local cottage industries, canals, and fruitful orchards. Locals will often greet you with a friendly hello or ’xin chao’ as you pass. Relax while discovering more of the Delta from a small rowing sampan as you are paddled slowly through the maze of small canals covered by water coconut trees. Cap off your memorable trip by a tasty lunch with Mekong Delta specialties. After lunch, head back to Ho Chi Minh City. Optional : Half day Cu Chi tunnels excursion (08.00-12.30) Additional Cost Originally dug as a base to organize guerrilla-style actions against the French, the Cu Chi tunnels were expanded during the Indochina War to become an ingenious and incredible underground network to protect the Viet Cong guerrillas from the French air and ground sweeps. There are more than 200 kilometers of subterraneous complexes containing storage rooms, kitchens, hospitals, sleeping quarters, and even schools, once occupied by more than 10,000 people. This morning, depart Ho Chi Minh City for 1.5-hour drive northwest to the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, passing through urbanized areas and a typically lush southern Vietnamese countryside. Tour the vast network of underground passageways to gain an insight into the tunnels’ history, life in the tunnels as well as the tenacity and resourcefulness of the Vietnamese during combat. 1. Does the price include airfare?
No. Everyone will need to book their airfare independently. Ace Travels Agency can also help you book your airfare reservations.
2. When is final payment due?
In general, the final payment is due 60 days before the departure with some exceptions where payment may be required earlier.
3. Can I opt for a payment plan?
Yes, you can opt for the payment plan option also. After putting down the deposit, you can pay the balance amount in multiple installments of any amount provided the full payment must be received 60 days before the tour starts.

5. Do U.S. citizens need a passport and/or a visa?
Yes, you need a valid passport with an expiration date of at least six months after your return. Americans do require a visa to travel to Vietnam. Apart from Passport & Visa no other ID is required.

Travel insurance is highly recommended. When purchasing travel insurance a lot of details are required like date of birth, age, departing city, trip price, state of residence, etc. hence, it is recommended to purchase Travel Insurance from the US only. 11. Is this an Ace Travels curate group trip?
No. This is a hybrid independent and group type travel. You will be on your own but excursions will be done as part of a group.
