My Story

My name is Amarilis, and I’m the founder of Ace Travels!

Six years ago, I went through a medical emergency that almost took my life. It really put things in perspective for me. It taught me that nothing can be taken for granted and that we should enjoy every second of our lives.  If you ever get a second chance in life, you’ve got to go all the way. After my emergency, I reset my priorities, and I decided to focus on what I really love: traveling. At that time, I had lived overseas in both Madagascar and Mexico and had traveled to many other places around the globe.

Traveling, experiencing new cultures, and connecting with people is my passion. It’s what I love. I’ve traveled alone. I have traveled all over the world with loved ones. I’ve traveled with family and friends. I’ve traveled for adventure, for leisure, and for work. And every time I’ve done so, the experience never fails to change me deeply. My preference is to travel with others so we can share that beautiful experience and change together. It’s why I encourage and love planning group trips!
