Day By Day Itinerary

Day 1

​WELCOME TO INDIA

You will arrive at Delhi airport and as you come out of the airport you will see your tour representative at the exit gate. You will be welcomed in the Indian traditional way by flower garlanding & tilak on your forehead as the term "Atithi Devo Bhava", which means "The guest is equivalent to God", is recited.  

Afterwards, you will be transferred to your hotel. The representative will assist you for smooth check -in at the hotel thereafter proceed to your elegant room for a peaceful night stay.

Day 2

EXPLORE THE CAPITAL CITY OF DELHI 

 Gear up for an exciting tour of Old and New Delhi.

OLD DELHI - Your old Delhi tour will start with a visit to Gandhi Smriti Museum - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated, Gandhiji was assassinated here on his way to offer customary evening prayers. A large collection of photographs with a few personal belongings and a series of small doll houses and terracotta dolls illustrating Gandhiji’s’ life are the attractions at this museum.

You will then take a peak into the labyrinthine lanes of Chandni Chowk while enjoying a fun-filled cycle rickshaw ride. You will explore the various routes on the rickshaw ride, offering you a different experience all together.

NEW DELHI - After lunch explore the New Delhi with the visit to the sacred Bangla Sahib the spiritual place for Sikh religious where you will see the community kitchen serving food to nearly 10,000 people every day, irrespective of caste, color, creed, sex or religion. Then drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, and the President's Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave.

After sightseeing drive to Agra. Check-in at the hotel.

Day 3

AGRA & MAJESTIC TAJ MAHAL 

Early morning at sunrise you will start your day by visiting one of the seven wonders of the world, the magnificent Taj Mahal. You will enjoy the most alluring view of the Taj Mahal in the relatively quiet early morning, shrouded in mists and bathed with a soft morning glow. As its vast marble surfaces fall into the shadow or reflect the sun, the color changes from soft grey and yellow to pearly cream and dazzling white.

You will also hear the most interesting stories of the great emperor who built this great monument in memory of his beloved wife. Surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men labored for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. When you touch the solid marble you will feel the great architecture and understand how and why it is still standing today.

Later you will visit Agra fort - the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded Peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms.

After sightseeing you will have free to time do shopping of rich handicrafts in Agra.

Day 4 

CONTINUE TO JAIPUR 

Another exciting day starts!

After the scrumptious buffet breakfast you will drive to the land of Maharajas, Jaipur-the fabled "Pink City" of the desert named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur.

This is the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe through the nine rectangular sectors subdividing it. The palaces and forts of the yesteryears, which were witnesses to the royal processions and splendors are now living monuments.

You will stop in route for lunch in a local highway restaurant.

After the lunch you will continue drive to Jaipur enroute visiting Abhaneri a small town village. The place is popular for the amazing 'Baoris' (step wells) and the Harshat Mata Temple. After that you will continue your drive to Jaipur. 

On arrival in Jaipur you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 5

EXPERIENCE THE ROYAL CITY - JAIPUR

You will start your day at the Royal city with a lavish buffet breakfast. After enjoying the breakfast you will then proceed for an excursion to the Amber Fort.

AMBER FORT PALACE - Amber is the classic romantic Rajasthani fort palace. Its construction was started in 1592, its forbidding exterior belies an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Hindu styles finds its ultimate expression. 

JAL MAHAL- The Jal Mahal was declared a protected area by the government and as a result entry to this wondrous Jal Mahal place has been restricted. Earlier there were boat rides around the palace. However, it still makes an amazing location for a romantic evening stroll as there is a pathway outside the Jal Mahal. You are free to spend as much time as they like and click as many pictures as they want. 

HAWA MAHAL - The ornamental façade of this "Palace of Winds" is a prominent landmark in Jaipur. Their five-story structures of sandstone plastered pink encrusted with fine trelliswork and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal grandstand for the palace women.

TEXTILE FACTORY - Explore the Textile factory in Jaipur, where you can observe the traditional woodblock printing and tie and dye fabrics. Also, visit the paper factory.

In the evening  you will return to your hotel.

Day 6 

TRANSFER BACK TO DELHI 

​Today you will have buffet breakfast in the hotel and head back to Delhi via ground transportation

You will stop for lunch at a highway restaurant and continue onwards  to Delhi.

Upon arrival in  Delhi you will be transferred to hotel.

The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure. 

Day 7 

GOODBYE INDIA!! 

Today you bid farewell to India.

​You will have the final breakfast and depart to airport for a comfortable and safe flight home.

We understand things happen in life and sometimes you have to cancel or change your vacation plans. Please give us a call if your plans change 120 days prior to your departure and we will happy to offer a refund minus the $200.00 deposit.   See below for details after the 120 days.

Policy Regarding Cancellation / No Show / Early Departure

In the event of cancellation of travel arrangements due to any reasons – we must be notified of the same in writing. Cancellation charges will be effective from the time/date we receive your notification in writing. Cancellation fees as below apply to the land packages and/or services.

120 days prior to arrival – 10% of the Tour.
120 - 61 days prior to arrival – 25% of the Tour.
60 - 31 days prior to arrival – 40% of the Tour.
30 - 07 days prior to arrival – 75% of the Tour.
06 days - 72 hours prior to arrival - 90% of the Tour.
Less than 72 hours or No Show – No Refund.

1. Does the price include airfare?
No.   Everyone will need to book their airfare independently.   Ace Travels Agency can also help you book your airfare reservations. 

2. When is final payment due? 
Final payment is due 60 days before the departure. 

3. Can I opt for a payment plan? 
Yes, you can opt for the payment plan option also. After putting down the deposit, you can pay the balance amount in multiple installments of any amount provided the full payment must be received 60 days before the tour starts.

4. Does the price include all meals
No - just those listed in the itinerary

5. Do U.S. citizens need a passport and/or a visa?
Yes, you need a valid passport with an expiration date of at least six months after your return. Under the Visa  rule, American citizens are required to have a visa to enter India.  Either you can obtain it through your local Indian Embassy or you can apply online for an E visa. 7. How many bags can I check in?

8. Can I book different dates at this same price?

Yes! Please note extra days will be at an additional cost.  

10. Is there a way to add travel insurance  on this trip or do we have to purchase separately? 
Travel insurance is highly recommended. When purchasing travel insurance a lot of details are required like date of birth, age, departing city, trip price, state of residence, etc. hence, it is recommended to purchase Travel Insurance from the US only. Ace Travels will follow up with a quote shortly after registration.

11. Is this an Ace Travels curated group trip? 
No. This is a group trip managed by a tour supplier.
